C’erano una volta The Unicorns, geniale band canadese scioltasi come neve al sole dopo alcune chicche di rock & elettronica. Nick Diamonds ha ora formato gli Islands, e la magia continua. Prendete i Pulp di “Mile high” e i Ween ai loro massimi livelli, affrontateli con un atteggiamento à la Beta Band ed ecco il pop (ed anche il hip hop, vedasi “Where there’s a will there’s a whalebone”) come dovrebbe sempre essere: divertimento, invenzioni, cazzeggio, delirio. Altra perla di questo 2006.
